I look at some of the reviews crying about historical relevance and think "how dumb are these people?" This movie is very loosely based on history and is designed to make you stand up with pride. In that capacity it works. If any of the reviews you have read so far complain about the 'historical accuracy' of the story, disregard the review. Those people need to spend more time in the library and in front of the mirror. If you go to the movies for entertainment and inspiration (and you have a set) go to this movie. It will not disappoint. If you want a history lesson, go to the library or enroll in a history class at your local higher education institution.
