I had seen the trailer for this movie some time ago with my 15 year old son. He told me that this was one movie that he would stand in line to see, and he hates waiting in lines! We have been anticipating 'opening day" for a loong looooooong time! We found a theater close by that had an 11:59 showing on March 8th. The theater was packed, and the atmosphere was electric and we couldn't have been more excited! This movie saturated the senses, even more than either of us had expected it would, and I have to say, it "delivered in every way possible"! The opening was amazing, and it just got better and better from there! There were times that my son almost lept out of his seat to cheer! We both loved the narration of the movie, and were both especially moved by the very last scene that showed the brave, courageous Spartan warriors! WARNING: there are many disturbing battle scenes, and a couple of short scenes with nudity(very well done, not gratuitous) but don't let that stop you in taking your 15 year-old (or older)to see this movie! They will come away from this experience with the same sentitment that my son had- "Dad, this was the best movie EVER- the BEST MOVIE EVER!" I couldn't agree with him more, and that says something in itself! Spend the money and the time! You won't be sorry!
