Anyone that complains about it not being historically acurate needs to understand that it was based on a graphic novel, not the real story. I saw the original 300 Spartans which was historically pretty accurate, and it was good. This is fantasy and was amazing. And to say that it's Western biased against Persians is ignorant of history itself: In Braveheart the Scotts fought the English, so was it an anti-English movie? Was Saving Private Ryan anti-German? No, like 300 they were based on true events. The Persians were the invading army; you want them to make it another country trying to attack Greece? People complain that it's not historically accurate then in the next breath complain that their fighting Persians.
